GUIDES FOR YOUR JOURNEY

WELCOME TO HOLOS COUNSELING CENTER

Holos provides Mental Health Counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. In our addictions services we provide adolescent and adult outpatient Level 1.5 and intensive outpatient Level 2 treatment services.

Several HCC therapists are trained in EMDR, eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing, a well-known and highly respected trauma treatment in the industry.

Before deciding to begin treatment it would be beneficial to understand our philosophy of counseling. Therapy may be difficult and emotionally painful as issues are worked through during the treatment process. These times are usually short lived and are often beneficial to healing. There may come a time when family of origin issues are explored. There are no guarantees in counseling but it is our intention to do whatever we can to facilitate achieving your goals.

Our general philosophy of counseling is that each individual has a life journey. No two journeys are the same. The need for counseling arises when for some reason, unknown to us or unmanageable for us, we step off our path and our journey is interrupted. It is our role as counselors to help you navigate back onto YOUR path. The direction is yours to choose. The goals are yours to set. We are simply here to facilitate your return to a beneficial and functioning journey. In this respect each person who comes for counseling has individually planned treatment specific to his or her needs.
